Starting from HTML sites, built with Dreamweaver software, and Flash web sites, I have designed many sites for various clients. Today the sites are built without Flash, using application like Joomla, WordPress etc., of which I chose to work with the latter.
Regardless of what type of application is used to design and build the site, the most important aspect of what I design and build are the navigation. The technology is so advanced, anyone could build a site, especially right now using AI. However it’s important to make sure the user who visits your site, finds the information you are trying to offer, be easily accessed and the site navigation is planned that way. The site can visually look amazing, but if the user has a negative experience navigating to find what he wants, the purpose of the site is lost.
Therefore just like the traditional brief which outlines the required result, I make sure the client’s main objectives are not compromised by emphasizing on the visual look. It’s the same principle in designing an interface, with a wireframe and diagrams to plan and execute proper functions needed to achieve the required goals. Below are just a few of the new sites I have designed and built with WordPress, also giving the client access to Content Management System if they need to update the site’s content by themselves.
